Greenpoint

Greenpoint has come full swing from its industrial roots and is now a popular place to live with lots of culture, shops, cafes, and things to do. After its manufacturing heyday, some of its former brick warehouses were converted into modern homes, while others, like those on the east side of McGuinness Boulevard, still bustle with commerce. The waterfront that fueled Greenpoint’s industrial growth has contributed greatly to its evolution, attracting residents and visitors alike to its scenic locale beside the East River. Fine Michelin-star restaurants and old-school Polish and Irish establishments happily coexist here, and the waterfront is still developing, with plenty of future potential and easy access to Midtown via the ferry. Located along the G line, the neighborhood also boasts quaint streets, indie boutiques, and amazing McCarren Park that divides it from neighboring Williamsburg with its beautiful greenspace, swimming pool, sports/recreation, and concerts.
