Hell’s Kitchen / Clinton / Midtown West

Stretching from 34th Street to 59th Street, and from 8th Avenue to the Hudson River, just north of the hyper-modern Hudson Yards, lies a unique, sought-after area with lots of personality smack in the heart of Manhattan. Hell's Kitchen is the colorful name for the gritty, formerly industrial, now mainly residential enclave near the glittering lights of Broadway, Times Square and Midtown West; however the more refined prefer to refer to it as “Clinton.” Among the attractions of the overall location include Restaurant Row offering a wealth of eateries and off-Broadway theaters; proximity to hubs like Times Square, Port Authority, Penn Station, and Columbus Circle; the epicenter of American theater; incredible landmarks and architecture, among them the iconic Empire State Building; and a huge central business district that is home to countless offices and high-profile headquarters.
